Polythene sheeting sometimes referred to as plastic sheeting or polyethylene is a waterproof plastic film manufactured using petroleum. It is generally supplied in rolls for a variety of applications such as a protective membrane or as a temporary protection material. Many types of polythene are highly reusable, usually dependant on their density and quality – but importantly polythene is completely recyclable at end-of-life.

Where is Polythene Sheeting used?
Like most variants of plastic, polythene is highly versatile, especially when it comes to being used as a protective material. The use of polythene sheeting varies generally based on its thickness, which is usually measured in gauge or micron (mu). Polythene sheeting is often used as a temporary floor cover, and as polythene screening materials for dust protection as well as surface protection.
